Four Seasons Milan

Set between Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, close to the heart of Milan’s ‘rectangle of fashion’, a 15th century convent has been transformed into one of the city’s best hotels. The Four Seasons Milan is an urban sanctuary with 118 rooms and 51 suites that have been individually designed and surround a peaceful landscaped courtyard. Its famous foyer piano-bar is a perfect place to meet and so it is no surprise that the Four Seasons Milan is frequented by stars of the worlds of film and fashion. Supermodels and celebrities mingle for drinks and light fare within the walls of Milan’s smartest address. The hotel’s main restaurant, La Veranda, offers innovative Mediterranean and local cuisine created by celebrity chef Sergio Mei. We enjoyed a wonderful tuna fish carpaccio and small gnocchetti with mussels, green beans and tomatoes (Chef’s suggestion) and as a main course a rosemary-roasted wild sea bass escalope with herbs and oil fumet.
The Four Seasons name brings a level of expectation in itself but the Four Seasons Milan sets itself apart in more ways than one. It retains a traditional and authentic charm while celebrating contemporary highlights of modern luxury living, not least its wonderful Spa where you can experience high-performance cutting-edge body and facial treatments by Sodashi, La Prairie and Sarah Chapman Skinesis. You can also enjoy the state-of-the-art gym or the elegant pool located under the original 19th century vaulted ceiling.
